Nursing Courses After 12th Admission Procedures & Fees

Diploma In Nursing

A student must have finished the 10+2 examinations with a minimum aggregate of 50 % from a recognized board to be eligible for a diploma in nursing which comes with the course of GNM & ANM.

In order to expand their experience, students must take a 6-month internship program after completing the nursing course.In addition, the student must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

If this criterion is not met, the student must have to attend a 6-month certificate course in nursing as specified by the Indian Nursing Council.

For diploma courses, entrance is largely based on merit. There are no entrance tests for these nursing programmes.

GNM Nursing

GNM course (General Nursing and Midwifery). It is a 3.5-year nursing diploma programme that includes a 6-month mandatory internship.

Passing class 10+2 with English as a mandatory subject and scoring 40 % in core subjects and English separately qualifies you for GNM Nursing.

Students having an ANM Nursing degree and passing marks, as well as those who have completed any Vocational Courses recognised by the CBSE/NIOS/state boards, are eligible to apply for GNM Nursing.

ANM Nursing

ANM Course or Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery is a 2 year diploma programme in nursing that includes a 6 month mandatory internship.

Passing class 10+2 in Arts or Science from a recognized board of education is required for ANM Nursing eligibility.

The B.Sc in Nursing is a four-year degree that can be pursued after completing 10+2 and passing the appropriate entrance exams.
